Kyle started his career in the brokerage industry in 1996 and joined BB&T Scott & Stringfellow in 1997. Prior to BB&T Scott & Stringfellow, Kyle worked in Baltimore, MD with Legg Mason and in Durham, NC with Merrill Lynch.
Kyle believes in buying quality stocks at reasonable prices and holding them for the long-term. What is a reasonable price? It depends on the fundamentals of a company and how consistent their management has been in carrying out a viable corporate strategy.
While no one can predict a stock’s performance, Kyle believes the margin for error when selecting stocks has become razor thin in recent years. He believes the stock market has very little tolerance for companies that disappoint investors by failing to meet earnings forecasts or by stumbling in their strategic positioning.
If investors remember this axiom then they will be ahead of the game: "Buying a good company at a bad price is just as perilous as buying a bad company at a good price."
